Soil Profile

Digging a soil profile and looking at the structure of the soil is a fascinating process.  There are many things the soils will reveal about the geology of the area and other aspects of the history of the area.  There are also many activities that you can instigate ranging from ph testing and a range of other chemical analysis through to things like sediment experiments and other activities relating to what the soils contain.
